Understand where organisational capability is keeping pace with the business, and where it isn't.
As businesses grow, commercial complexity can develop faster than the organisation's ability to carry it. The Organisational Capability Review™ provides leadership teams with an independent view of where capability is strong, where it is under pressure and where dependency may be constraining what comes next.
For CEOs, MDs, founders and leadership teams · Established B2B businesses · Typically £1M–£20M revenue
CEOs, MDs, founders and leadership teams of established B2B businesses, typically between £1M and £20M revenue. The Review is usually commissioned when one or more of the following is true:
Can the organisation make clear strategic choices and align behind them?
Can the organisation reliably deliver as complexity increases?
Are leaders building capability through others?
Can work move across the organisation without repeatedly returning to the centre?
Can critical capability survive changes in key people?
Within those five capabilities the Review also examines:
A written report for the leadership team and board: capability scores across the five capabilities, a Capability Heat Map™ of the twenty-five underlying drivers, and the observations and recommendations below. Delivered and discussed in an executive debrief.
Where capability is strong, where it is under pressure and where it is absent, driver by driver.
The small number of constraints that explain most of the symptoms, ranked by consequence.
Where performance, knowledge, relationships and decisions concentrate in particular people.
How decisions actually move, where authority and responsibility have separated, and what routes back to the centre.
What to address first, what can wait, and what the leadership team can do without further help.
The sequenced twelve-month plan is a separate, subsequent piece of work, built only where the Review indicates a meaningful capability issue and the leadership team chooses to continue.
The Review is a fixed-fee, paid diagnostic. Fees are confirmed on the call once the size and complexity of the organisation are understood. There is no obligation to continue afterwards.
Where the business is heading, what has changed, and where organisational pressure is being felt. Scope and participants agreed.
Structured input from the leadership team and relevant roles, alongside the operating information the business already produces.
Assessment across the five capabilities and twenty-five drivers: scoring, dependency mapping and constraint identification.
Findings tested with the leadership team before they are finalised, so the report reflects the organisation as it actually operates.

What to act on first, and a decision about whether any further involvement from ClarityOS is useful.
Some leadership teams take the findings and act on them internally. That is a legitimate outcome, and a common one.
Where the Review indicates a meaningful capability issue, the findings become a Capability Roadmap™ and, where there is a fit, a twelve-month Capability Accelerator™ engagement.
ClarityOS works with a maximum of eight retained clients at any one time.
